<p>A drop delivery, debris disposal chute comprises a plurality of U-sectioned body modules (22) joined end to end and a plurality of cover modules (23) forming a continuous vertical duct. Spaces between adjacent cover modules constitute duct access openings. The duct is clamped to inlet structures (12, 30) secured to the floors of a multi-storey building under construction and each providing a feed race communicating with a respective access opening. The spacing of the access openings to suit the floor spacing is provided by means of a non-modular cover between each inlet structure able to be overlapped by an adjacent cover module.</p> |
