<p>An improved EL driving device having a second power supply voltage generating means which generates a second power supply voltage for driving an EL by use of a first power source composed of a battery, third power supply voltage generating means which generates a third power supply voltage which is higher than a first power supply voltage and lower than a second power supply voltage, and driving signal supplying means which is driven by the third power supply voltage and supplies AC driving signals to the EL driving means. Since the level of the AC driving signals is raised in two stages, a semiconductor device for driving an EL having a high breakdown voltage and a high threshold voltage can be driven at a low voltage.</p> |
