Process for the continuous casting of closely dimensioned non-ferrous, pref. copper or copper alloy, strips, rods of tubes. The metal is cast through a vertical chill mould, drawn off and guided into a surface machining station and then parted horizontally. Cut pieces are removed from the line. Also claimed is the required plant.
