The switching appts includes a housing formed by first and second shells each having an open side with the open side of the first shell abutting the open side of the second shell. First and second fixed contacts with the first fixed contact held in the first shell and the second fixed contact held in the second shell. An actuator of insulating material is coupled to the first and second shells to pivot between first and second positions. A first movable contact is attached in the first shell to the actuator. The first movable contact touches the first fixed contact when the actuator is in the first position and is remote from the first fixed contact when the actuator is in the second position.
