The mixer housing has a formed inlet (3) for water and an inlet (4) for steam. Within the cylindrical housing (1) is a piston (7) that can be moved axially by rotating a handwheel (8) with the range fixed by a groove (10). Coaxial within the piston is an axially displaceable valve (11). A coil spring (14) maintains the valve position. Flow paths (17,18) for water vapour and others (19,20) for water are built into the cylinder assembly. Controlled flow passes to the output (30) coupled to a spray gun.
