<p>The prodn. of a composite moulded prod. (I) comprises (a) converting at least part of the surface of a base material (II) into an adhesive state and bonding it with layer(s) of polymeric particle foam (III), and (b) placing the prefabricated composite in a foaming system with the particle size facing the cavity, and foaming the cavity in-situ with particles of the same polymer matrix as (III). Also claimed are moulded prods. (I), with foam particles (3) facing the base material (2) at least partly embedded in an adhesive layer (22) so as to form an inseparable composite, and also forming the particle foam (5) (together with the other foam particles (3)).
