The assembly includes an insulating support plate which is fixed to a fixed part of the alternator and to a brush carrier (22). The integrated circuit (36) is supported on a first surface (34) of the plate. The connecting pins (42) to the integrated circuit extend across the insulating material to emerge into a housing (46) on the second surface (18) and extend beyond it. A connector circuit comprising a cut metal plate (50) is partially sunk in the insulating material. A folded part of this plate, not covered by insulation, makes clips (56) extending axially in contact with the connecting pins (42) which are spaced regularly around a circle. An insulating cover over the second surface has partitions for the pins.
