RESIN KNEADING AND GRANULATING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To provide a resin kneading and granulating apparatus capable of accurately detecting the amt. of the resin stagnated in a chute over a long period of time and capable of controlling the same constant. CONSTITUTION:In an apparatus wherein the resin stagnated in a chute 4 is photographed by an image detection means 14 through an observation window part 4A and the image data thereof is processed to detect the amt. of the stagnated resin and a resin amt. adjusting mechanism 12 or 13 is adjusted corresponding to the detected amt. of the resin, the cleaning means 18 cleaning the observation window part 4A is provided. Since it is prevented that the resin falling in the chute 4 or the powdery resin suspended in the chute 4 is bonded to the observation window part 4A to obstruct the visual range of the window part, the image of the resin stagnated in the chute 4 can be certainly taken over a long period of time by the image detection means 14.
