PURPOSE:To obtain a drink agent for an animal, ingestible by the animal having weakened physical fitness or suffering from a disease without any difficulty, having high palatability and excellent in pharmacodynamic effects. CONSTITUTION:This drink agent for an animal comprises 0.3-10mg thiamine hydrochloride, 100mg to 1g calcium lactate, 3-15g sucrose, 30-300 mg malic acid, 30-500 mg taurine and 2-30mg anhydrous caffeine based on 30ml drink agent. The drink agent can be drunk by an animal even in a state thereof affected by a disease and kept in a state of rejecting not only a medicine but also a usual food without great rejection. The recovery from the disease can be accelerated by using usual medication and treatment in combination. A drink agent comprising the ingredients shown in the table and their contents based on 30ml water is cited as one example of the drink agent. |
