PURPOSE:To suppress the emission of the smell of ammonia, etc., from excreta of livestock by rearing the livestock with water at a high oxygen concentration. CONSTITUTION:This method for rearing livestock is to feed livestock (cattle, a horse, a pig, a goat, a sheep, a rabbit, a duck, a broiler, etc.) with water at a high oxygen concentration containing at least 30ppm, preferably >=40ppm oxygen. When charcoal is added to a mixture of zeolite with ferrite and the resultant mixture is mixed with a commercially available feed and fed to the livestock supplied with the water at the high oxygen concentration, effects on fattening and reduction of the smell of ammonia are obtained. |
