<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the toner resin composition and the toner superior in offset resistance, low temperature fixability, and blocking resistance, and good in fine pulverizability, and above all, excellent in low temperature fixability, and capable of obtaining sufficiently stable images even in the case of using a high speed type or small scale electrophotographic copying machine. CONSTITUTION:The toner resin composition consists of a lower molecular weight vinyl type polymer component having a weight average molecular weight of <=40,000 and made of a styrene type polymer comprising a >=60weight% styrene type monomer unit, and a higher molecular weight vinyl type polymer component having a weight average molecular weight of 100,000 and a gel fraction of >=20weight% and made of a (meth)acrylate type polymer comprising a >=60weight% (meth)acrylate monomer unit and at least each one of glass transition points in the ranges of >=50 deg.C and <=0 deg.C, thus permitting the desired toner to be obtained by using this toner resin composition.</p> |
