PURPOSE:To display on a road map in a superposing manner the information necessary for pickup in various means of transportation, avoidance of traffic jam at crossing, etc., by adding the means to display the operational information of various means of transportation to an on-vehicle navigation device. CONSTITUTION:A timetable storing device 5 to store the timetable of railroad stations in the whole country, a display 7 to display the road map, the railroad operational information, etc., a moving body position calculating device 8 to calculate the traveling position of the train based on the railroad timetable are added, and these devices are controlled by a control circuit 4. To display the timetable of the train, the name of the prefecture is inputted by a timetable display switch of an inputting device 1, and the name of the route, and the name of the station are selected in this order. The date and time are inputted from a calendar clock 2, and the timetable of the train at the selected station corresponding to the date and time is displayed. To display the location of the train on the road map, the timetable data at the stations included in the road map data corresponding to the date and time of the clock 2 are read from the device 6, and the train traveling position is calculated by the device 8 based on the timetable data at two stations, and displayed on the route. |
