PURPOSE:To protect the data preliminarily written on a card base material directly in cards such as an ID card or the like and to form a dye image having high fixing properties equivalent to a silver salt photograph on the surface of the card base material by a sublimation thermal transfer recording method. CONSTITUTION:A receiving layer 2 wherein an interlaminar compd. capable of fixing and holding a cationic dye by ion exchange reaction is dispersed in a resin binder is formed on at least the single surface of a card base material 1 pref. in a thickness of 2-10mum. A transparent resin layer may be formed on at least the single surface of the card base material 1 and the transparent resin layer and the receiving layer may be successively laminated on the card base material 1. |
