SUBLIMATION TRANSFER IMAGE RECEIVING SHEET AND SUBLIMATION TRANSFER RECORDING METHOD

PURPOSE:To enhance the surface releasability of an image receiving sheet used in combination with a sublimation transfer medium and perfectly prevent the fusion of a recording medium with a dye layer even if the image receiving sheet is adapted to an n-time mode recording method. CONSTITUTION:In a sublimation transfer image receiving sheet wherein a dye receiving layer is provided on a substrate, unmodified silicone oil and modified silicone oil are added to the dye receiving layer. The sublimation transfer image receiving sheet and a sublimation transfer medium are superposed one upon another to be subjected to thermal sublimation transfer recording under such a condition that the running speed of the latter is lower than that of the former.
