PURPOSE:To realize the measurement with high accuracy by positioning a camera making use of a reference point and a reference horizon taking into consideration the mechanical arrangement of the camera. CONSTITUTION:Right and left cameras 2,3 are provided with the respective positioning devices 1, and these positioning devices 1 are arranged on a fitting jig 5. A white board 6 is arranged parallel to the fitting jig 5 close to the point of the distance suitable for measurement for the purpose of the calibration from the fitting jig 5. Reference points 7, 8 and the reference horizon 11 where the visual observation is also targetted are provided on the white board 6. The optical axis and the angle from the horizontal plane of the cameras are adjusted using the reference points 7, 8 and the reference horizon 11. |
