<p>PURPOSE:To prevent intrusion of water and dust into a housing of a lighting fixture effectively using a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:Communication of the inside air of a lighting fixture housing 14 for respiration of a headlight is generated through a vent 18, filter 50, and respiratory holes 48. Because of its structure in which a lid 30 rotates round an ingral hinge 32 to cause bending, it is likely that a gap is formed at the part with the hinge 32 between side walls 20, 22 and the lid 30. The respiratory holes 48 are provided in a part mating with this gap in the side walls 20, 22, and the gap is used as part of an air passage together with the respiratory holes 48. The respiratory holes 48 are equipped with filters 50 opposingly, which hinder water infiltration into a cylindrical part 28 from the holes 48. Use of integral hinge 32 ensures the effect of decreasing the number of component parts and also hindrance of water intrusion resulting from generation of gap.</p> |
