PURPOSE: To obtain a spin finishing agent which provides a superior treating property on aramid fibers, which exhibits good filament coagulation and good antistatic property for respective filaments, and which has low surface tension or low interfacial tension and minimal specific colors. CONSTITUTION: Aramid fibers includes a spin finish contg. (A) an anionic antistat based on phosphoric and/or phosphoric esters, (B) a compd. expressed by the formula I: R<1> -COO-(CH2 -CH2 -O-)x -R<2> , and (C) a compd. expressed by the formula II: R<3> -O-(R<4> -O)y -R<5> [R<1> is a 1-22C alkyl or a 2-22C alkenyl, (x) is an integer of 2-20, preferably 3-15, R<2> is hydrogen or a 1-22C alkyl, R<3> is a 1-22C alkyl or a 2-22C alkenyl, (y) is an integer of 1-8, R<4> is ethylene, or some of R<4> may be propylene or butylene when (y) is 2, 3 or 4, R<5> is a 1-22C alkyl, particularly methyl]. |
