PURPOSE:To improve the quality of subscriber service with a telephone terminal or a facsimile terminal concerning the exchange for selecting a facsimile call in any outgoing direction and the store/forward switching device for storing the image signal of that call and transmitting it to a prescribed line. CONSTITUTION:Concerning the exchange provided with a number analyzing processing means 12 for executing number analyzing processing to the originated calls of facsimile terminals 111-11n, direction selecting means 13 for selecting the directions of originated calls to which that processing is executed, and gateway means 14 for executing gateway processing to those originated calls with the selected direction as the outgoing direction, this exchange is equipped with a storage means 15 for individually storing the identification numbers of the facsimile terminals 111-11n and a call originating terminal identifying means 16 for identifying the facsimile terminal, where the originated call is generated, and providing the identification number stored in the storage means 15 concerning that terminal, and the gateway means 14 is provided with a means for transmitting the identification number obtained by the call originating terminal identifying means 16 in the outgoing direction. |
