<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet loading device whereby an operation of separating a sheet can be stably performed regardless of high/low rigidity of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is stored in a paper feed cassette to mount it in a device main unit, and when a sheet conveying operation is started, a separating pawl 13 is moved on a mounting base 15 in an arrow mark (x) direction left side (direction of separating pawl 13 escaping to cassette outside) to a prescribed position, in accordance with rigidity of the sheet. Consequently, a distance between the separating pawl 13 and a feed roller is changed, and force, in which the sheet bent by colliding against the separating pawl 3 tends to come of from the separating pawl 13, can be optimized.</p> |
