DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR WITH DEAD LOCK MECHANISM

PURPOSE:To secure the dead lock condition of a door lock even in the case where assembling accuracy and fitting position accuracy in the door lock side is uneven by operating a restricting member in the direction as same as the direction of an output arm or the locking direction of a member to be restricted so as to abut on the output arm or the member to be restricted. CONSTITUTION:When a dead lock motor 8 is rotated in the dead lock side, a slide nut 9 is operated right, and a restricting lever 10 is turned counter clockwise to abut on a sector wheel 6 of the other end side of the restricting lever 10, and movement of the sector wheel 6 and an output arm 7 connected to the sector wheel 6 are restricted. As a result, a door lock connected to a door lock actuator 1 through the output arm 7 becomes dead lock condition. Even in the case where the output arm 7 is stopped at the locking position of the door lock displaced from the normal position due to the assembling error and fitting positional error of the door lock, movement of the sector wheel can be restricted at this position.
