PURPOSE:To inexpensively obtain a magnet roller with good production efficiency without requiring intricate working and an adhesives by inserting shafts in an ordinary temp. state into insertion holes disposed at both end faces of a magnet roller body part in a heated state. CONSTITUTION:The columnar magnet roller body part 10 has the insertion holes 11 for inserting shafts 12 at their both end faces. The inside diameter d1 at the time of ordinary temp. of the insertion holes 11 is smaller than the outside diameter (d) at the time of ordinary temp. of the shafts 12. However, the inside diameter d2 of the insertion holes 11 right after molding or after the holes are heated to 80 to 100 deg.C by an oven, etc., is larger than the outside diameter (d) at the time of ordinary temp. of the shaft 12. The insertion of the shafts 12 into the insertion holes 11 is executed right after molding of the magnet body 12 or in the state of attaining d2>d after the heating but d1>d is attained after cooling down to ordinary temp. or below. The shaft 12 are thus fixed with a sufficient strength into the insertion holes 11. |
