The S-correction switching circuit of a horizontal deflecting circuit is constructed in such a manner that the collector of a transistor setting a frequency to a diode modulation circuit is connected to the gate of an N-channel FET through a resistor, condenser and zener diode, and the drain of the transistor is connected to an S-correction condenser, protective diode and resistor, to thereby construct a switching circuit connected to the diode modulation circuit.
