Self-protecting coded anti-theft device for diesel engined motor vehicle

The anti-theft device has an emitter circuit (1) and a receiver circuit. The emitter circuit is placed adjacent to the system that activates or passivates the anti-theft mechanism. The receiver (3) controls a solenoid valve (5). The receiver is fitted over the thread of the terminal providing electrical connection to the solenoid. The emitter and receiver circuits are connected by a shielded cable. The enabling code is sent over this cable. The emitter and receiver circuits are moulded into separate resin covers. These covers ensure electrical insulation and provide mechanical protection for the circuits. The receiver is fitted over the terminal of the solenoid valve and held in place by a nut. The nut is then covered in polyester resin.
