The male (2) and female (3) ear markers are detachable from a support (15) which resists pre-treatment disinfectant products. A series of holes (16,23) are previously made on the support which facilitate the application of the ear markers (2,3). The male ear markers are provided with a pointed head (5) and are pressed through the support hole (16) by means of this head. The male ear markers (2) are formed from a pin body (4), with a part (17) which is narrower than the head, and the hole (16) is chosen such that it is smaller than the diameter of the head, but greater than or equal to the diameter of the narrow part. Female ear markers (3), having a part in the shape of a plate, are fixed to the support via the plate by sliding under lips (19) which are mounted on the support.
