Surgical instrument with tubular shaft

The instrument grip consists of fixed (1) and a relatively movable part (3). The instrument insert consists of the tubular shaft (5) in which is a slidable actuating rod (6). At the insert distal end is fitted a throat whose parts are actuated by the rod displacement. The shaft proximal end is securable to the fixed grip part, while the movable grip part serves for axial displacement of the actuating rod. A clamping tongs (19) is axially slidable in alignment with the tubular shaft and is mounted on the fixed grip part. The proximal end of the actuating rod can be clamped by the tongs, while the movable grip part is linked to the tongs for its axial displacement.
