Slow release tablets prepn. by wet granulation

A pharmaceutical prepn., esp. a tablet, contains (A) as known (a) not more than 800 mg/g active ingredient, (b) a vinylpyrrolidone/vinyl acetate copolymer and (c) pref. 0.5-10 wt.%, fatty substance, pref. cetyl stearyl alcohol, (B) at least 10 wt.% acrylic acid polymer crosslinked by polyalkyl-saccharose, pref. also (C) polyoxyethylene, polyvinylpyrrolidone and/or OH-alkyl(alkyl)cellulose and (D) an inert support, and/or fillers and/or aids, esp. tabletting aids. (Ab) pref. contains 60 wt.% vinylpyrrolidone units and 40 wt.% vinyl acetate units. The wt. ratio (C):((B)+Ab)) is 0.5-100 to 1:1. The active ingredient is e.g. chloro-pyramin, nitroglycerin.
