Device for automatic filling of jars with sausages

The filling device has a positioning device including a cartridge (10) with internal walls extending radially from the middle. The slider (22) can be moved vertically and axially relative to the jar (13a). The cartridge is fitted directly under the jar. The slider pushes the sausages (11) out of the cartridge and up into the jar. By means of the cartridge, the sausages are located precisely in position beforehand and remain accurately lined up when the slider pushes them into the jar. The use of the cartridge eliminates direct pressure on the sausages, which could damage them.
