摘要 Thermoelectric detector for detecting continuous and pulsed radiation has an active detector surface made of a thin layer of crystalline solid body with anisotropic thermoforce. The thin layer has a layer epitaxially grown on a substrate crystal and consists of a thermoelectric anisotropic high temp. superconductor material contg. Cu-O planes, and is contacted with two electrical contacts spaced from each other. According to patent DE4306497, (a) the substrate crystal is cut in such a way that (100)-planes at a angle greater than 0 appears from the substrate surface, (b) the Cu-O planes of the superconductor material are orientated over the total lateral expanse of the thin epitaxial layer, so that the crystallographic c-axis of the epitaxial layer has angle ( alpha ) against the normal (n) on the surface, and (c) the connecting line of the electrical contacts has direction, in which the c-axis of the epitaxial layer is tilted against the normal (n). In this patent of addn., by masking on prodn. of layer or removing parts of the detector layer, single, layer regions are produced, which are provided with contacts along the tilting direction of the layer, so that the measured electrical signals accept the intensity distribution of the falling radiation on the active detector surface.
