Procedure for manufacturing building blocks

After pressing of the blank (32) and before cropping off of the raw brick, the procedure entails cutting out a groove (18) in the blank (32) at right-angles to the direction of pressing out and in phase with the cropping. Two parallel grooves may be cut out in the downwards pointing outer face of the blank by cutting motions in opposite directions, or the grooves can be cut out from bottom to top in the outwards facing vertical outer face of the blank.
