Brickwork construction method

The method involves using thin layer of mortar (8) (or adhesive). The mortar is applied directly to each course (4) using a mesh strip (5) to cover the openings (6) of the cavities (3) in the brickwork (2). Mortar material is prevented from falling into the cavities and at the same time the courses are cemented together. The mortar is applied with a comb trowel (7) or similar implement.
