Clamp for hose coupling

The hose connection has a shaped connecting stub (2) at one end over which is pushed the flexible hose (3). The outside of the hose coupling has a slit sleeve over which is rolled the securing element. This has two or more rollers (5) threaded on a sprung ring. In the ready position the securing element is rolled onto a support sleeve (7) to allow a simple push fit over the stub. The securing element is then rolled over the connection and presses the hose into the stub profile. The support sleeve for holding the tensioned securing element has a ramp shaped profile to allow the rollers to be pushed onto the ramp to a stable support position. The roller tensioner can be wire or a stamped metal sleeve, etc.
