The mechanism consists of a reciprocating claw (21), a plate (22) with a slit for a card to pass through, a support (24) at the top of the stack which can turn about two perpendicular pivots and a pressure element (12) with a spring (16) beneath the stack. The pressure element comprises a carriage which is pressed against the bottom of the stack by the spring, and the two pivots (18,19) are offset relative to the centre of the card stack. The claw has a section which lies parallel to the top of the stack, and a surface which is inclined upwards slightly. |
