PURPOSE:To obtain a dispersion of solid in liquid in which an oil-soluble substance is homogeneously and stably dispersed in an aqueous solution in a solid state. CONSTITUTION:In this dispersion of solid in liquid, an oil-soluble substance is dispersed in an aqueous solution of a watersoluble hemicellulose in a solid state. The oil-soluble substance is a substance which has a solid content of >=90wt.% at 20 deg.C and a melting point of >=40 deg.C, especially, >=100 deg.C and is insoluble or slightly soluble in water. The oil-soluble substance is e.g. a chemical which is effective as an agrochemical or an insecticide (e.g. 1-naphthyl-N-methyl carbamate or tetrachloroisophthalonitrile) or a high-melting oil and fat which is effective as an indigestible oil and fat. A bean e.g. soybean, especially, originated from a cotyledon is preferable as the above mentioned water-soluble hemicellulose. Preferably 0.05-25 pts.wt., especially, 1-20 pts.wt. of the oil-soluble substance is dispersed against 1 pts.wt. of the water-soluble hemicellulose. The oil-soluble substance is preferably pulverized into fine particles having an average particle diameter of <=40mum, especially, <=10mum. By dehydrating the dispersion of solid in liquid, a hydrate capable of easily being wetted and dispersed into water is obtained. |
