PURPOSE: To visualize an important image structure by finding an area irrelevant to diagnostics first and displaying a pixel in the area as an image as eliminating dazzle when a radiographic image is processed. CONSTITUTION: A photostimulative phosphorescence screen 3 is exposed by X-rays transmitted by passing through an object and a radiograph is stored in the screen 3. The screen 3 is contained in a cassette 4 in which EEPROM exclusive for electric erasure, writing and reading is incorporated and various kinds of data, e.g. patient identification data like a name, a data of birth, etc., and the data required for a signal processing are written in the ROM by the screen 3. The stored image is read by a laser 16 in an X-rays reader, the image is deviated in a main scanning direction by a current magnetic deviation device 17 and a sub-scanning is performed by transmitting the screen 3 to a sub- scanning direction 18. Radiation is transmitted to a photoelectronic multiplication tube 20 to be converted into electric image display by a light collector 19 and quantized with an extracting and holding circuit 21 by an A/D converter 22. |
