<p>PURPOSE:To improve valve timing control responsiveness by lowering flowing resistance of operation oil to be supplied and discharged in respect to a hydraulic chamber, and increasing operation speed of a servo mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Relative rotational phases of a cam shaft 1 of a cylindrical gear 5 and a timing pulley 4 are continuously varied through a servo mechanism 15 accompanied with axial movement of the cam shaft 1 of the cylindrical gear 5 arranged between a cylindrical main body 8 of the timing pulley 4 and a sleeve 2. A hydraulic actuator 20 of the servo mechanism 15 and a control valve 21 are independently provided on the timing pulley outside thereof for improving freedom of a layout of a hydraulic supply passage 28 and a hydraulic discharge passage 29.</p> |
