MULTI-MEDIUM TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE:To provide the multi-medium transmission system and method thereof attaining smooth transmission when multi-medium information comprising an audio signal and a video image to a destination. CONSTITUTION:An audio signal and a video signal to be sent are recorded in advance by a microphone 1 and a video camera 3 or the like and they are stored in a storage section 7. Then a transmission closing time is set. A CODEC section 100 receives them and detects a schedule of a destination system to which the signals are going to be sent via a network. Then an idle time zone of the destination system is detected in a time zone before the set closing time and the information comprising the audio signal and the video signal having been recorded in advance is sent for the detected time zone.
