PURPOSE:To provide such an electric facility housing box that its door can be selectively opened from the right or left side and a relatively large visual field can be secured against an electric facility housed in the box from the side of the box even when the opening angle of the door is small. CONSTITUTION:Brackets 4 are attached to the top and bottom of both sides of the opening 3 of a box body 1 and a door 2 is fitted to the box body 1 by engaging left and right rods 5 with the brackets 4. A pair of upper and lower rods 5 and 5 is engaged with the brackets 4 on one side so that the rods 5 and 5 can be disengaged form the brackets 4 and an operating handle device 6 is provided between the rods 5 and 5 on each side so that the upper and lower rods 5 can be simultaneously disengaged from the brackets 4 when the device 6 is operated. When the rods 5 to be disengaged from the brackets 4 is selected, the fitting side of the door 2 can be selected, whether right side or left side. It is also possible to remove the door 2 by disengaging all rods 5 from the brackets 4. When both the left and right sides of the door 2 is bent and the roof plate 1a and bottom plate 1b are bent in corresponding to the door 2, a large visual field can be secured against equipment, etc., housed in the box body 1 from the side of the box body l even when the opening angle of the door 2 is small. Therefore, the maintenance and inspection of the equipment, etc., can be performed easily. |
