<p>PURPOSE:To provide a structure of connection between the expansion valve of a car air conditioner and piping, which reduces parts and assembly costs and ensures high reliability. CONSTITUTION:In a structure of connection between the expansion valve 2 of a car air conditioner and piping, for connecting the refrigerant passages 18, 19 of the expansion valve 2 mounted in the car interior with refrigerant piping 11, 12 arranged in the engine room, the refrigerant piping 11, 12 is passed through a hole 16 bored in a bulkhead 15 partitioning the car interior from the engine room, and the ends 11a, 12a of the refrigerant piping 11, 12 are connected directly to the refrigerant passages 18, 19 of the expansion valve 2 inside the car interior. Using fixing members 21, 22, 24 for fixing this connection, the ends 11a, 12a of the refrigerant piping 11, 12 are fixed to the expansion valve 2 from the engine room side.</p> |
