PIPE JACKING METHOD OF DOUBLE-TUBE

PURPOSE:To reduce the construction period and cost, by simultaneously carrying out the jacking work and the auxiliary works like welding and non-breakage tests, on jacking a double-tube pipe to lay a pipe line. CONSTITUTION:A pushing ring 3 is attached to the front end of a basal pushing device 1 and a frame base 2 provided with a mounting member 4 loaded with a new double-tube A2 or the inner pipe 5b of double-tube A2 is fitted thereto. The pushing ring 3 is positioned to contact the outer pipe 6a of double-tube A1 to be thrusted and inner pipe 5b of double-tube A2 is arranged to contact the inner pipe 5a of double-tube A1. While jacking the double-tube A1, the joining part of the inner pipes 5a, 5b are welded and the auxiliary works are executed immediately after the welding.
