摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To achieve a shape and objective crown which are suitable to actual operation by setting the objective crown taking the allowable range of a plate shape in intermediate stands and upper and lower limits of the manipulated variable of an actuator for controlling crown/shape into consideration. CONSTITUTION:The influence coefficient, offset, transfer rate, heredity coefficient and shape changing coefficient of each stand are determined 10 from a material information, actual value of actuator obtained with a bender 6, actual value of load obtained with a load detector 8 with an allowable sharpness decision device 10. The shape at each stand is calculated from those and the allowable sharpness is determined. Next, the variable region of crown ratio is decided taking the upper and lower limits of the allowable sharpness and capacity of the actuator into consideration in a manipulated variable decision device 12. When the target crown is out of the variable region of crown ratio, the objective crown is corrected. The objective crown at each stand is decided as going upstream from the objective crown of the final stand. Finally, the set value of cross of the benders 6 and the work rolls are decided and crown/ shape control is executed.</p>
