PURPOSE:To enhance the light fastness of a developed color image and reduce background staining by providing a photosensitive thermal recording layer containing a specific diazo compd. and two kinds of specific oupling components on a support. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive thermal recording material is formed by laminating a photosensitive thermal recording layer containing a diazo compd. represented by the formula I (wherein R1 and R2 are an alkyl group, Y is a halogen atom and X<-> is a pair anion) and coupling components represented by the formula II (wherein R3 and R4 are an alkyl group) and the formula III (wherein R5 is an alkyl group, R6 is an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, an alkylamino group or a halogen atom and n is an integer of 0-4) on a support. The coupling components can be used alone or in a combination of two or more kinds but, when two or more kinds of them are together used, the precipitation of the coupling components with the elapse of time can be suppressed. The diazo compd. is pref. microencapsulated. |
