PURPOSE:To provide an operating pedal device in which the movement of a pedal pad made when the adjustment is carried out in the longitudinal direction is smooth, the construction is simple and compact, and structure has sufficient strength, and also a lever ratio is constant and depressing force characteristics in depressing operation is kept unchanged. CONSTITUTION:Rotating members for adjustment 20 to which an operating pedal provided with a pedal pad 22 and the rod 28 of a brake booster 30 are arranged rotatably around a pivot shaft 16. Also a first oval hole 38 and a second oval hole 40 are drilled in them, respectively, pin 42 is passed through the holes, and the pins 42 are moved by a movement means 58 comprising a clevis 44, an electric motor 54, etc., along the second oval hole 40. Thus, the position of the pedal pad 22 is adjusted in the longitudinal direction by rotating the operating peal 18 relative to the rotating members 20 for adjustment. |
