PURPOSE:To set a camera automatically based on setting data by storing the data to a storage device mounted on a tape cassette. CONSTITUTION:Various additional data are stored to a storage device mounted on a tape cassette in the unit of events as shown in figure. A CAMERA event among the events is made up of various data for camera setting such as a shutter speed, a focus, a zoom and a gain of a camera, and when the tape cassette is loaded to a camcorder, the content of the CAMERA event is read automatically and transferred to the camera, and the camera is set automatically according to the content of read data.
