PURPOSE:To provide a control device for a manual transmission capable of surely preventing the shift mistake from the forward stage to the reverese stage, and correcting the route of a shift lever for proper shift stage. CONSTITUTION:When a control shaft 1 is turned to the neutral, an upper projection 21 is pushed up to an upper end face 24 of a stopper bracket 17, and as shown by an arrow a stopper plate 16 turns counterclockwise. Then, a lower protrusion 22 of the stopper plate 16 is made to abut against a side 23 of the bracket 17 to compress it, and by the reaction force the plate 16 is moved to the left together with the shaft 1. A control finger 4 integrated with the shaft 1 is thus moved to three/four stage shift lag 6 side together with an interlock plate 12 while it is turned to the neutral.
