PURPOSE:To air-condition a plurality of rooms comfortably by determining, a timing to switching-off a compressor, when a plurality of indoor machines are simultaneously rendered to cooling operation, in consideration of states of other rooms and the state of a load of each room. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerant upon cooling operation flows in the direction of an arrow. An outdoor machine 1 and indoor machines 2 are connected with each other through a stunt circuit (refrigerant tube) including capillary tubes 6a, 6b and opening/closing valves 7a, 7b for example. Any of the opening/closing valves 7a, 7b is closed when room temperature on the side of the indoor machines 2A, 2B is lowered to a set value while it is opened when the same is raised to the set value +1 deg.C. A compressor 3 is interrupted for 3 minutes since the time the room temperature on the side of the indoor machines 2A, 2B is lowered to the set temperature. When a heat load of a chamber A or a chamber B is above a predetermined value, the operation of the compressor 3 is continued until the room temperature of the room A or the room B reaches the set value -1 deg.C.
