PURPOSE:To provide a character processor for easily and speedily preparing a document by automatically adjusting the balance of a document page in poor arrangement balance. CONSTITUTION:A margin part of poor page balance inside the document is detected by a margin area detection part 11 and supplied to a page balance correcting frame preparation part 12, and frame data are prepared to insert element data for page balance correction to the margin part. The element data for page balance correction selected from an element data storage part 14 for page balance correction by an element data selection part 15 for page balance correction are supplied to the page balance correcting frame preparation part 12 as well, and the element data for page balance correction are inserted to frame data and supplied to a page balance correcting frame addition part 13. At the page balance correcting frame addition part 13, the frame data to which the element data for page balance correction are inserted are added into the document, and those document data are outputted to a display or a printer. |
