PURPOSE:To provide an electronic instrument capable of changing musical sound information to be read out according to an amount of depression of an expression pedal in the electronic instrument provided with the expression pedal. CONSTITUTION:This instrument is constituted so as to be provided with a pedal function allocation means 9 detecting/deciding the extent of the depression of the expression pedal 16 and allocating a pedal function to the pedal 16, a pedal information buffer 17 storing the detected/decided result, a pedal function storage means 8 storing the function allocatable to the pedal 16, a musical sound information storage means 15 storing the musical sound information read out according to the pedal function, a musical sound information read out means 6 reading out the prescribed function from the pedal function storage means 8 based on the information read out from the pedal information buffer 17 at prescribed timing and reading out the musical sound information according to the function from the musical sound information storage means 15 and a pedal function execution means 10 executing the pedal function based on the musical sound information. |
