<p>PURPOSE: To provide a technology for increasing the permission range of a glyph code against geometric distortion and a physical damage while the same type visual appearance of a self clocking code is kept. CONSTITUTION: (1) A recording medium, (2) the self clocking data code for encoding information, which is constituted of a glyph written into a delimited two-dimensional code field on a center recording medium which is spatially distributed in nominal accordance with a previously decided spatial formatting rule, and the glyph defined by respective symbols selected from the finite set of the symbols which can optically be identified for encoding information (3) a self clocking address pattern which is written on the recording medium so that it can extend by crossing a code field along at least one axis, which removes the fuzziness of a logical position in the address pattern against the precision of a partial pattern and which is constituted of a peculiar glyph pattern are provided.</p> |
