<p>PURPOSE:To enable the obtaining of a compost aging promoter capable of shortening the aging period without causing pollution at a low cost by comprising a dehydrated cake of a precipitated and solid material of water purifying treatment therein. CONSTITUTION:This compost aging promoter is obtained by pressurizing and dehydrating a precipitated and solid material of water purifying treatment prepared by taking water of a river into a water purifying plant and precipitating the material, providing a dehydrated cake composed of components such as Al2O3, Fe2O3, MnO, Cab, MgO and K2O and then blending the resultant dehydrated cake therein. Furthermore, this compost is produced by mixing 25-45vol.% feces with 25-45vol.% resultant dehydrated cake and the remainder of rice straw or chaff, piling up and aging the prepared mixture, regulating the temperature to about 70 deg.C after about one week, then slowly reducing the temperature from the time of about 2 weeks after the piling up to about the atmospheric temperature after about 4 weeks and completely aging the mixture. The compost is produced by, as necessary, adding and mixing about 0.1vol.% water absorbing polymeric resin such as an acrylic ester therewith before completely aging the compost, promoting the aging and improving deodorizing effects.</p> |
