PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive manufacture of an ink-jet head which is printing quality. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle plate 61 is manufactured by injection molding and laser processing. An injection molding process forms a nozzle plate material possessing a bottomed hole 68 which is to become a tapered part 63 and not possessing an orifice part 62 of polyphenylene sulfide. A thin part 66 is removed by applying laser beam to the thin part 66 by an excimer laser next to the injection molding process and the orifice part 62 is formed. Since the nozzle plate 61 manufactured like this is stuck to the tip face of a head main body by an adhesive agent such as an epoxy resin, an ink-jet head is obtained. |
